The next Chris?

Lucas Till Pictures, Images and Photos

Just a thought, won't Lucas Till make a good Chris if there were to ever be another remake of Flowers In The Attic? XD

And maybe this time they'll make the movie right =.=

I swear, the first time I saw his face on a Hannah Montana commercial I immedietly pictured Chris!

This is such a random post fyi.

The new FITA remake

I have been a long-time fan of VIRGINIA CLEO Andrews and have read HER books. I've watched these books come out by Neiderman and am saddened every single time.

10 years ago I saw the Fita film adaptation and thought only disappointment. Now as the exciting news of a remake LOOMS, I think to myself a 3rd grader could probably do better. But wait, I am an aspiring filmmaker, I could do better than the original. The thought of the remake being worse than the original is horrifying and not too much of a stretch.

It sounds crazy, but I really think the Neiderman team could use some help from TRUE fans that are still in the moment, where as he has been meandering away from true VCA for quite some time.

What can we do? I am so scared for this movie. :(

Fid: The fifth night

Title: The fifth night
Fandom: Flowers in the Attic
Author: lyndagb
The usual: not my characters.
Rating: PG-13
Pairing: Chris/Cathy
Summary: I've long been annoyed by the fact that VA left out the most critical scene in the entire series,  Last month I was suddenly struck by inspiration...  I've tried to use elements of Cathy's narration style, but really this is more my style than hers.

Come greet me with kisses if you love me!

Hello, my name is Courtney! n__n
I've very recently come into the FITA fandom--I read Flowers In The Attic last Sunday (yes, the whole book), and just finished Petals On The Wind two days ago. As of now, I'm a good ways through If There Be Thorns

What can I say? I'm hooked.

I was vaguely aware that this book existed (as well as the movie), but never looked into it until last Saturday. I kick myself for not doing so sooner. FITA was so amazing, and had me constantly on an emotional roller-coaster, from the "awwing" at the Chris/Cathy moments (<3), to "ZOMG CORY NUU!"

POTW was just as fantastic (especially the Chris/Cathy moments <3), but Cathy's love life had me frustrated at times... (Chris, Cathy. CHRIS!)
However, the action that ensued in the book was epic.

IFBT is a lot better than I initially thought it would be, and I actually took a liking to both Jory and Bart. I can't wait to see what happens next.

I haven't seen the movie yet, but have heard that it was bad...I'm still going to get a hold of it though. I've seen that there is a re-make floating around, and am excited for it, because I take it that it will be closer to the book.

Sorry for the long intro post...I'll make up for it with icons at some point. XD;
Hello nonetheless!

"Flowers in the Attic" Remake

Hello there. I'm the new girl on the block. My name is Song, how do you do?

I recently read "Flowers in the Attic" and enjoyed it, very much. The situation presented to these four children was so interesting, as were the explored relationships.

I felt it was worth bring up that the ghost writer for V.C Andrews has made numerous statements foreshadowing a re-release of "Flowers in the Attic".
